where we believe that the art of making people welcome is one worth preserving.
Christmas Parties at The Triton
To
help you celebrate the Christmas season we stage a series of organised
Christmas Party Nights at the Triton. What more elegant setting is there
for your firm’s end of year get together, or for just an informal party
night with a few friends or relatives?
Our Christmas Party nights feature our highest standard of fine food, prepared by our brigade of experienced chefs. Set in our tastefully decorated and elegant Poseidon’s restaurant, the Christmas Party evenings include background music from our grand piano and then later in the evening, the best dancing and party music around. Party hats, streamers and poppers are all provided, we have one of bthe most extensive wine lists in the area, plus the top brands of the most popular drinks.
The numbers that we can accomodate each evening is strictly limited as we don’t do ‘overcrowding’ at The Triton. These nights are bound to prove very popular so, its important to book as early as possible, to ensure that the night you want is still available.
We can arrange tables to suit your party size - anything from tables for 2, up to a restaurant full . . or more. The Triton Inn at Brantingham has three separate areas, each of which may be available for a variety of private functions and for Christmas parties. Our lovely 255 year old former coaching inn is now fully refurbished for the 21st century but still retains its old English charm. It now has atmosphere but retains a certain style and elegance while remaining comfortable.
The former bar area is now a stylish lounge, which seats between 50 and 60 in comfort. The former conservatory can seat a little over 40, while Poseidon’s restaurant is even more flexible and can accommodate up to 76 people.
Our brigade of chefs have considerable experience in banqueting and can tailor a buffet or full meal to YOUR specification. Our attentive waiting staff are under the personal direction of the Triton’s new proprietors (Anne, Paul, Dawn and Vince) who will ensure the highest standards of service. This is the ideal way to impress your clients or your colleagues - a Christmas Lunch or evening Christmas Dinner at East Yorkshire’s latest fine dining destination restaurant.

Christmas 2008
Christmas Luncheons
A first class four course Christmas Lunch with several choices, including traditional roast turkey with seasonal vegetables and all the trimmings, will be available in Poseidon's Restaurant and in The Triton Lounge Bar every day from 12 noon to 2.30pm throughout December.
Christmas Dinner
Served each evening in Poseidon's restaurant December from 7pm onwards, a full traditional Christmas Dinner
Christmas Day
We shall probably once again offer a sumptuous six course Christmas Lunch in Poseidon's restaurant.
Boxing Day
Traditional Christmas celebrations, starting with the Green Gingermen Morris dancers and the Garland Ladies who will entertain us with the age old traditional rituals.

Lunch will be served throughout the Triton and in Poseidon's Restaurant (tables can be reserved - call us early though).
New Years Eve
A very special evening of celebration to see in 2009 in style. Our chefs will prepare a "Goodbye to 2008" banquet of six courses, with special entertainment to take you through to the magic hour of midnight when we shall bring in the new year with all the traditional fun and games!
