Triton
The Triton is the ideal place for a
sumptuous Christmas Lunch or Dinner; generous portions of
freshly-prepared locally-sourced season's fare, elegant but comfortable
srroundings and the traditonal warm welcome from our team all combine
to make your holiday get-togethers and meals out a success.
It is the busistes time of year and the number of seats is strictly limited, so ensure you get YOUR table booked as early as possible. We already have some sessions fully booked in some parts of The Triton.
Below are the menus for Christmas Lunches, and evening Christmas Dinners for Christmas 2009, as a guide to the sort of fayre we offer. We expect to provide a similar service in 2010 - details will be posted on this page as soon as we can confirm this, but we shall only do so after a review of our menus and our offer, in light of customer reaction and feedback.
Christmas Lunches, and evening Christmas Dinners are likely to be available every day throughout December until Christmas Eve. Our full menu (click on it to go to the page congtaining that menu) will also be available for those who want a change from Turkey.

NOTE At holiday times the
sudden unavailability of suitable ingredients may force us to vary or
even substitute some dishes.
Christmas 2010
Christmas Luncheons
A first class four course Christmas Lunch with several choices, including traditional roast turkey with seasonal vegetables and all the trimmings, will be available in the Triton Restaurant and in the Lounge Bar every day from 12 noon to 2.30pm throughout December.
Christmas Dinner
Served each evening in the restaurant and in the bar from 1st December until Christmas Eve, from 7pm onwards, a full traditional Christmas Dinner . All the trimmings, full menu in the PDF of ojur menu, to the left.
Christmas Day
We shall once again offer a sumptuous five course Christmas Lunch at the Triton.
Boxing Day
Traditional Christmas celebrations, starting with the Green Gingermen Morris & Sword dancers and their delightful Garland Ladies who will entertain us with the age old traditional rituals.
Lunch will be served throughout the Triton (tables can be reserved - call us early though).
New Years Eve
A very special evening of celebration to see in 2011 in style. Our chefs will prepare a "Goodbye to 2010" multi-course banquet with special entertainment to take you through to the magic hour of midnight when we shall bring in the New Year with all the traditional fun and games!
