Here is our current
'regular' menu - we change this every 8 to 10 weeks,
In addition to the regular menu we have an ever changing Specials Board (see below)
We also have an ever changing Daily Specials Menu
Specials are offered as follows:
Lunchtime Evening
(12 to 5pm) (5pm to 9pm)
Monday - Saturday Snacks Dinner
Sunday Roast Sunday Lunch Dinner
Sandwiches & Snacks
Our sandwich menu items are really a meal - we serve a full sandwich on the bread of your choice, fully garnished with salad, etc and some potato crips. The current Sandwich menu includes the following:
Roast Sunday Lunch
Served Sundays from 2 noon until approx 5pm (Also available on Bank Holiday Mondays)
We usually serve three of the following -
ROAST BEEF, ROAST LAMB,
ROAST PORK, ROAST TURKEY,
ROAST CHICKEN, ROAST GAMMON
Each served with a home made Yorkshire Pudding, Roast and mashed potato, and two vegetabls plus our own REAL GRAVY, made from the juices of the joint.
The biggest problem with Roast Lunches is having the roast potatoes at satisfactory quality - if we 'hold' them too long they go sort of rubbery. But they need about 40 to 50 minutes to cook in the oven, so we have a problem of doing enough to meet demand, but not so many that we throw heaps of them away. We therefore try to cook enough continuously all Sunday afternoon until 5pm, and then go onto our regular menu plus evening specials.

change every few days and take advantage of what's available in the
market and at reasonable prices. Our chefs then use their skills and
expertise to assemble unusual dishes, but ones that we hope our
customers will enjoy. We do appreciate your feedback and ideas on

CHILDREN
While
we don't set out the Triton to be a kid's playground, well-behaved
chilidren are very welcome to dine here, and many do.
There is a separate menu for those of our customers who are under 12 and can also make a children's version of many of the meals on our other menus - just ask one of our team.
We do ask however that parents ensure that adults make sure that children do not run around, yell or shreek or otherwise annoy their fellow diners.
