FUNCTIONS
When you want to have a private
party, but
need extra space, professional standards of catering, or perhaps just a
convenient location - call us at The Triton. We MAY be just the
place.
We have three large rooms and often stage private events, which fall into three categories: FAMILY
Engagement parties, Birthdays, Weddings, Christenings, Anniversaries
and Funerals. We hold all these regularly at the Triton and have
a reputation going back several decades. Ask your friends, if
they didn't have their own anniversary / wedding etc at the Triton, the
chances are that they will know someone who has, and its quite
likely they have been to such a function here. If they came in the last
two years, then we are certain they will have been satisifed with the
food, the service and with the venue.
Our main function area is The Triton Ballroom which is ideal for private parties up to about 80 guests for a full multi-course meal, or just a buffet. NOTE Normally we don't do
teenage parties or stag nights; the simple reason is, the participants
might not respect our regular customers, who are paramount in our
consideration. We HAVE held 18th birthday parties and they have
been very successful; if we know you and the birthday boy or
girl, and a responsible person accepts responsibility then we MAY be
able to help.
CORPORATE Corporate lunches and dinners need professional service and food / drink, if you are to make the best impression. The Triton has an enviable reputation fo giving superb service. We have a superb room for Annual General Meetings, Training Days, Press Conferences, product launches and other events where a company wishes to make a good impression and not have to worry about the extra workload in-house. ASSOCIATION If you need a small room for committee meetings, or a larger room for an annual general meeting, a charity auction or other event, The Triton may be the ideal venue. For charitable events we normally waive our room hire charges - call Anne to discuss details. We have recently staged a charity FASHION SHOW for 125 guests, fund raising dinners, charity auctions, pig-racing nights, and all kinds of political and welfare lunches and addresses. Flower Clubs, Ladies Guilds, Rotary and Round Table, The Masons, the Buffaloes aand several different car enthuisiasts' clubs have all met at the Triton in the last year. Why settle for less, when you could be meeting at The Triton ! LOCATION We are easy to get to from all parts of the East Riding, and further afield too as we are just a couple of minutes from the end (or the beginning!) of the M62. We have over a hundred car parking places and all facilities are on one level. The Triton has several exterior areas for those hot days, or for parking mobile exhibition trailers, etc. See our Directions page for a map and fuller details. INSPECTION You are welcome to come and visit our faqcilities at any time, although a phone call to warn us would be helpful and help ensure we are ready for you as we may be readying the Triton ballrroom for another function and the layout might look somewhat different! FOOD AND DRINK The Triton is renowned for excellent food. Our brigade of chefs (usually about four chefs and numerable kitchen assistants) take great pride in their work and have many years experience producing first rate buffets and large scale catering. We can serve you and your guests any of the dishes on the regular Triton menus (on other web pages) or buffet menus, or perhaps something you have dreamed up yourself? We offer a huge range of drinks including about a hundred wines and Champagnes. We charge bar prices for all functions. There's
